Consultant

The Consultant will report to a Manager or Director. Working closely with an assigned Project Manager, the Consultant will become a fully integrated project team member within the first months of employment. The combination of on-the-job learning, classroom training and ongoing coaching and mentoring enables Consultants to enjoy outstanding professional growth and career opportunities.
The Consultant position career track includes promotion to Manager, typically in two to three years. There is also the opportunity to advance beyond Manager for individuals looking to develop a longer tenure or career in consulting with AGI.
Responsibilities:
- Work with client leaders in sales, marketing, finance and human resources to solve sales management issues.
- Participate and lead client meetings to present consulting deliverables in sales effectiveness.
- Conduct client research including on-site interviews, market research and surveys.
- Manage Business Analyst and Associate Consultant resources on project engagements.
- Create analytical models that simulate or forecast business problems and results.
- Apply logic, business acumen, and AGI methodologies to provide recommendations to clients.
- Demonstrate and develop excellent listening and communication skills to conduct fact finding, lead internal and client meetings, and deliver presentations of AGI solutions to the client.
- Prepare high quality, error-free client reports and presentation materials that require minimal revisions.
- Project manage select work streams and focused client engagements.
Qualifications:
- MBA or another advanced degree, preferably in marketing or business, from a top academic institution preferred
- BS in a quantitative discipline (i.e., statistics, math, operations research, engineering), a plus
- Relevant professional experience (i.e., sales or marketing) and management consulting experience
- High-tech or medical product industry knowledge and experience, a plus
- Quantitative skills and general problem solving skills for business problems
- Moderate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills
- A passion for high quality work, a love of consulting, and a genuine desire to progress rapidly in the profession
- High degree of motivation, flexibility and creativity
- Superb oral and written presentation skills
- Ability to travel (sometimes on short notice)
