Business Analysts
Business Analysts at the Alexander Group enjoy professional growth and career opportunities combined with on-the-job learning, classroom training and on-going coaching and mentoring. Modeling and forecasting are major responsibilities of this entry level position and form the basis of client recommendations. Conducting interviews, applying logic and researching allow the Analyst to develop the communication and research skills needed to become an Associate Consultant or Consultant later in their career at the Alexander Group. One year of professional experience, experience in Excel and a B.S. in a quantitative discipline (i.e. statistics, math, operations research, or engineering) are required for the Analyst position. Resourcefulness, critical thinking, attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly are important aspects of an Analyst.
Consultants
Consultants at the Alexander Group work with executive level clients in Sales, Marketing, Finance and Human Resources to solve Sales Management issues. Main responsibilities include meeting facilitation, research, presenting on AGI Methodology, as well as problem solving to produce valid results for the clients. Consultants may be asked to manage Business Analysts and Associate Consultants, which is meant to prepare them for the next level (Alexander Group has a career path that proceeds from Consultant to Manager to Director and enjoys promoting from within). A high degree of attention to detail, thinking outside the box and going above and beyond for clients while working on multiple projects is required. Prior experience in Sales, Project Management or Consulting is preferred. An MBA degree and ability to travel are also requirements of the job.
Managers
The Alexander Group Managers report to a Principal or Director and play a key role in implementing the Alexander Group’s growth strategy. This role is responsible for maintaining existing client relationships, managing world-class consulting projects and teams, and developing new projects within existing client accounts. Some examples of projects include: examining the sales strategy of a team, developing sales and marketing models, creating organizational design processes or providing implementation support in varied capacities. Managers are required to have at least six years of professional experience, with at least two years in Project Management or Management Consulting. Applicants should have extensive Sales Channels and Business Knowledge experience. Ability to manage projects simultaneously while managing a team is imperative. An MBA degree and ability to travel are also requirements of the job.
