Eric Maurer - Principal and Region Leader
Eric Maurer is a Principal and Region Leader in Alexander Group’s Chicago office, responsible for operations and personnel in the Midwestern US. Eric has more than a decade of management consulting experience, and has worked with companies across several industries including telecommunications, communications equipment manufacturers, software, computer peripherals and healthcare. Eric enjoys navigating the dynamic sales environment and the opportunity to work with sales leaders to identify challenges and execute against short and long term growth opportunities.
Prior to joining the Alexander Group Eric managed an independent retail operation where he was responsible for all purchasing, merchandising and staffing decisions. Eric holds a BS in Marketing from the University of Dayton.
Matt Bartels - Director
Matt Bartels is a Director in the Alexander Group’s Chicago office. Matt is a leader in the firms Medical Device and Business Services verticals. He also has widespread experience in a variety of industries, including technology, telecommunications and advertising. Matt has a proven record of working with clients to develop actionable growth oriented strategies around sales segmentation, go-to-market solutions and productivity enhancements. In addition, Matt has expertise in global and domestic compensation design.
Prior to joining the Alexander Group Matt was a management consultant at Deloitte and IBM Business Consulting Services. He earned his BA in Economics from The University of Chicago and an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
John Drosos - Director
John Drosos is a Director in Alexander Group’s Chicago office. John consults with companies across several of the Firm’s key industries, including medical devices / diagnostics, insurance, capital equipment, diversified manufacturing and technology / information services. John has over eleven years of management, technology and in-house consulting experience. His key focus areas are strategic analysis and program management and implementation. He has completed and led projects in sales growth, compensation, sales strategy and coverage, quota development, marketing strategy, market analysis and acquisitions.
Prior to joining The Alexander Group John worked as a general manager at Home Depot and as a consultant at both Bain & Company and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). John holds an MBA and BA from Harvard University.
Kyle Uebelhor - Director
Kyle Uebelhor is a Director in the Alexander Group’s Chicago office. He contributes his knowledge and experience to a wide array of sales organizations. His clients include leading companies in technology, telecommunications, wholesale/distribution, financial services and healthcare. Kyle has worked extensively with agent distributor models helping to craft their go-to-market strategies and aided in the transformation of these models. Kyle frequently speaks on sales compensation topics. He has authored several articles and whitepapers including most recently “Five Sales Compensation Solutions to Sales Force Transformation.”
Prior to joining the Alexander Group, Kyle spent a decade as a financial seller in commercial banking. As a relationship manager and lender to large middle market companies, he developed a broad expertise across numerous industries and developed solutions-based selling strategies with his C-suite clients. He holds his B.A. from Wabash College and MBA from the University of Michigan.
