We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join the team in our Scottsdale office. The Accounting Specialist is a smart, skilled and highly motivated individual, who welcomes a challenge and is excited to learn and grow in the field of accounting.  This is an entry-level role that provides accounting support for a multi-location management consulting firm in order to carry out day-to-day finance and accounting activities. This role works both independently and collaboratively to ensure timely and successful delivery of accounting services for the firm.


  • Enter and balance accounts receivable and/or payable on a daily basis
  • Track bank deposits
  • Monitor payment discrepancies and collections issues
  • Communicate with clients to discuss account status
  • Participate in the preparation of monthly reporting
  • Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts and invoices
  • Assist in preparing financial data for audits


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • One or more years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, advanced formulas, vlookups, etc.
  • Experience with SAP by Design
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn and take on new tasks
