Beth-Ann Roberts, who has more than 30 years experience fostering strategic business relationships in New England’s health care arena, is the senior vice president for regional markets for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. A not-for-profit health services company serving more than one million New England members, Harvard Pilgrim constantly ranks among America’s highest rated health plans.
At Harvard Pilgrim, Ms. Roberts is responsible for developing strategic plans forthe company’s profitable growth in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine and Connecticut. In addition, she has direct accountability for the New Hampshire market where she works with elected officials, regulatory departments, business leaders and the media.
A resident of New Hampshire, Ms. Roberts is an active participant in the Granite State community and serves as the chair on the Boards of Directors of New Hampshire Health Plan, City Year New Hampshire, and the RiverWoods Group. She was the chairperson of the 2010 Heritage United Way campaign and successfully raised a record $3.7 million. She served as chairperson of the New Hampshire branch of the American Heart Association’s 2010 Go Red for Women luncheon and the 2009 Heart Gala. She was awarded the Crystal Heart Award and was recognized as the Top Corporate Volunteer by New Hampshire Magazine. In addition, the New Hampshire Business Review recognized her as an Outstanding Woman in Business in 2008.
Ms. Roberts has a Masters of Business Administration from Boston University and is a Certified Health Insurance Executive through the America’s Health Insurance Plans.
