Preparing the Salesforce for a New Role
David Pearson has been leading sales strategies that deliver growth for more than 20 years. David is Senior Vice President for TrueBlue, a $2.7 billion global staffing company and the largest U.S. industrial temporary staffing company in North America. David has been with TrueBlue nearly 10 years and currently leads sales for TrueBlue’s $1.8 billion PeopleReady brand, leading the sales efforts of nearly 1,200 sellers serving 130,000 clients throughout the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. Since assuming that role in 2012, revenue has grown 42%, which has encompassed strong organic growth along with the integration of several strategic acquisitions.
Prior to taking on his current Role, David served as President of TrueBlue’s PlaneTechs brand, the premier provider of aviation technicians across commercial and military sectors. As President, David had full P&L responsibility for this $100 million business, overseeing fast growth that doubled the business in three years.
Before bringing his sales talents to TrueBlue in 2007, David taught others how to create and drive winning sales strategies as Vice President of Sales Operations for Miller Heiman, the number one global sales performance company. He led sales for Miller Heiman’s consulting partner group and led global expansion throughout Europe, Asia/Pacific, and Latin America. He also led the keynote speaking practice, delivering sales thought leadership to over 50 companies such as Google, Honeywell, and Coca-Cola.
Most recently, David prepared the sales force for the launch of TrueBlue’s PeopleReady brand – a new company that brings together TrueBlue’s former staffing brands Labor Ready, CLP, and Spartan Staffing, into one company focused on expanding customer relationships by meeting more of their specialized workforce needs.
