James Jackson joined Experian in April 2014 as Executive Vice President (EVP) Credit Services and Decision Analytics Sales for Experian North America. He leads our largest business-to-business sales organization, delivering premium growth representing more than $1 billion in revenue. Also, Jackson is responsible for leading sales transformation and strategy, implementing new go-to-market client coverage models, refining sales processes and deepening market penetration of Experian’s best-in-class global client solutions.
Jackson began his career as a credit analyst and since then has held roles with progressively more responsibility in two of the nation’s top financial institutions, Bank of America and Capital One. Most recently at Capital One, Jackson was EVP of North America Branch Distribution and Mid-Atlantic Market President (Washington, D.C., MSA). He led a network of 1,000 bank branches, along with Sales and Service Strategy, Branch Operations, Business Banking, Brokerage, Trust and Asset Management.
Prior to Capital One, Jackson served in EVP leadership roles at Bank of America in several businesses, including Premier Banking & Investments, Home Lending and Retail & Business Banking. He also served as President of the Virginia Bank, where he led the state-wide transition from NationsBank to Bank of America. During his tenure at Bank of America, he was recognized for overachievement in revenue growth, net income, operational excellence and client/employee satisfaction.
