Marvin joined Johnson Controls in March 2016. As Senior Director, Sales Force Enablement he leads the group responsible for all non-product and technical training & development for the JCI global sales organization consisting of just over 12,000 colleagues. This includes day to day operation of the commercial academy and the JCI commercial operating system.
Prior to his current role he spent the previous 5 years with Halyard Health (formerly Kimberly-Clark Healthcare) in a variety of global sales and marketing senior leader roles. His most recent role was Senior Director, Global Marketing Services, leading a team responsible for developing the global branding strategy and deployment of business best practices for Kimberly-Clark’s $1.7B spinoff. His group managed all learning and development, global marketing strategy, market research, and digital marketing. Throughout his 20+ year career, he has held key positions in sales leadership for some of the healthcare industry’s leading companies.
In the community, Marvin has been an active volunteer at Roswell High School as a community Football and Track & Field coach. Additionally, Marvin serves as a mentor and advisor for INROADS, Inc. a non-profit organization established to prepare minority college students for corporate internships as well as a former Mentor in the Women Unlimited Program. He is a graduate of Rhodes College and received his MBA from The Johns Hopkins University.
