Survive and Thrive in 2020: Executive Forum Summary

How do you reach, influence and serve the 24/7 customer virtually?

Alexander Group’s annual Executive Forum was held virtually at the end of 2020. Through keynote and panel speakers, an audience of over 500 revenue leaders heard multiple stories of resilience, courage and innovation.

The speakers all resonated four compelling themes about what it took to survive and thrive in 2020.

  1. Tough Times Call For Empathy and Courage.
  2. Give the Stakeholders In Your Ecosystem Simple and Practical Solutions to Their Issues.
  3. In Tough Times, Great Companies Don’t Cut Back On Value. They Strive to Deliver More Value, More Quickly At Less Cost.
  4. Revenue Leaders Should Have a Bias to Action.

These themes form the backbone of a cultural imperative that enables the revenue function to better serve both their constituents and their customers. These themes have both an internal and external lens, a reminder to revenue leaders that they serve an ecosystem and they have a life span well beyond the pandemic.

These themes are explored further in this four-part video series. Learn how revenue leaders at great companies are harnessing them to survive and thrive in these challenging times.

More value, less cost, delivered the way customers want it. This used to be what separated the best from the rest. Today, 24/7 customers expect it. So, how are companies separating from the pack? Consider what was presented in this video series. Good will, agility and a bias to action counts. It’s time to lean into digital and build the kind of ecosystem that can help you thrive in the age of the 24/7 customer.

Alexander Group’s 2021 Leadership Series

This year, Alexander Group’s Leadership Events will focus on the continued importance of the new type of customer and what’s around the corner under the theme of 24X7 Customer: The Next Chapter. These events will continue the exploration of how companies are reshaping their go-to-customer approaches, with an emphasis on how revenue leaders are taking their learnings from 2020 and using them to build stronger customer relationships and find new pathways to growth.

In addition to roundtables, symposiums and Forums, we are also excited to announce the first Alexander Group Women in Revenue event in April. Be sure to mark your calendars.
