Asher Joy
Associate ConsultantAsher Joy is an associate consultant (AC) in the Chicago office. As an AC with the Analytics and Research practice, she creates and uses analytical models to simulate or forecast business problems and results for clients. She conducts data analysis, applies Alexander Group methodologies and participates in client interviews and related fact-finding initiatives to provide recommendations to clients. Asher collaborates with the team to create high-quality, error-free deliverables.
Prior to joining Alexander Group, Asher worked as a business analyst at McKinsey & Co. In this role, she owned the analytical deliverables for high-stakes projects across industries, such as TMT and Payments. Before McKinsey, Asher worked as a Data Fellow for Cook County’s Bureau of Economic Development, where she analyzed the impact of numerous economic development programs and wrote reports to inform County Commissioners of the need to continue funding for these programs. Asher holds a B.A. in economics from Princeton University and is fluent in Spanish, conversational in Malayalam and Hindi.
