Position Overview:

We are looking for a versatile IT Infrastructure Administrator to support and maintain the company’s IT environment. This role combines network administration, systems management, Cloud administration and end-user support, ensuring reliable and secure operations across our business.

Responsibilities:

Network & Connectivity

  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPNs, wireless networks and firewalls
  • Optimize performance and ensure high availability of network resources
  • Monitor and update network monitoring tools and configurations

Systems & Infrastructure

  • Administer servers (Windows, Linux), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and storage systems
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and group policies
  • Support hybrid environments across on-premises and cloud platforms (Entra)
  • Work with Cisco ISE and Meraki switches and access points, SFDC, Deltek, Microsoft 365

Cloud & Automation

  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure (compute, networking, identity and security)
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities for infrastructure management
  • Support migration and optimization of workloads on-premise and in the cloud

Security & Compliance

  • Maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection and access controls
  • Support compliance with cybersecurity and data protection standards (ISO, NIST, GDPR)
  • Monitor logs, investigate anomalies and respond to security incidents

Collaboration & Support

  • Partner closely with IT and DevOps teams to support business initiatives
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated desktop and infrastructure issues
  • Document infrastructure changes, maintain diagrams and keep procedures current

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in network, systems or infrastructure administration

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs and firewalls
  • Experience with Windows and Linux server administration
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Cloud certifications for Azure (Optional)
  • Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell)

Salary $90,000-100,000. Bonus eligible.
