Alexander Group has an immediate opening for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. Your charter will center on increasing Alexander Group’s awareness of our services portfolio in the market, driving engagement with prospective and existing clients and contributing to the firm’s revenue objectives.
The Marketing Manager will work directly with Alexander Group’s service practice leads and executives to create and execute innovative marketing strategies that attract new clients and strengthen existing relationships. As a key member of our dynamic marketing team, you will have a unique opportunity to directly impact the firm’s success and growth. This role drives the direction of Alexander Group’s services portfolio including marketing services, sales compensation, pricing and data science practices. This role requires strategic thinking, creativity and a results-driven mindset to ensure alignment with industry practices and the firm’s goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative, results-oriented marketing strategies and campaigns that are consistent with the overarching firm marketing and business strategies
- Represent the firm’s value proposition, offerings and point of view for the creation of focused messages, thought leadership and programs that enhance market position
- Develop and maintain the marketing calendar for the services portfolio initiatives including services-focused research, content creation and email campaigns tailored to industry practices
- Build and grow communities and councils in collaboration with the events marketing team
- Provide support for Alexander Group sponsored events and coordination for third-party events
- Facilitate planning sessions to establish the annual marketing plan for the services portfolio including the timing, budgeting, tracking and analytics for programs that link to the firm’s business plan
- Track and evaluate marketing strategies and initiatives by monitoring customer metrics, competitor strategies, and industry trends and enables responsive marketing activities in response to changes
- Help oversee the curation and management of the services practice CRM database
- Ensure clear communication between team members and stakeholders to align on goals and initiatives
- Measure, track and report on program and campaign performance, contribute to success analysis and identify opportunities to improve performance
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
- 5+ years of work experience in a marketing manager role
- Proven ability to develop creative strategies and drive action-oriented results. Strong leadership skills with prior experience managing and working closely with business stakeholders
- Confidence in influencing senior leadership with data-driven marketing ideas
- Ability to work proactively across work streams and interact fluidly with internal stakeholders and marketing colleagues to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills with internal stakeholders across all levels in the organization
- Have a high degree of motivation, positive attitude and willingness to learn from mentors and peers
- Experience interpreting sales, customer and marketing data to optimize campaigns and present marketing impact
- Adept in program and project management with strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Experience working with Salesforce and Pardot preferred
- Prior experience working in professional services is a plus
- Based in Chicago, IL (minimum three days per week in-office)
Salary: $110,000-122,000. Bonus Eligible.
