Sales Compensation

Don’t Miss the Facts!

The 2020 Sales Compensation Trends Survey is now open! Participate today; get the survey results in early January. Unlock information on sales compensation budgets, pay levels, staffing, quotas and more by participating in this free survey. Now in its 18th year, this survey continues to be a top resource for leading companies when making sales compensation decisions.

The survey reports on trends in sales compensation by using repeating annual questions, including topics such as key sales compensation program practices, revenue growth rate, headcount and turnover. It examines how sales compensation plans performed in 2019 and what changes companies expect to make in 2020. Each year, the survey takes a look at special topics. New this year are sections on base pay program management and plan administration including software tools.

The Sales Compensation Trends Survey collects data from a multitude of industry leading companies. Find out if your sales compensation plan lines up with market practices. Assess how your practices compare to others. Use this researched-based data to make informed decisions about your sales compensation plan.

Take the survey online here. To participate, companies must have at least 20 full-time sales personnel in their sales force. The deadline to complete the survey is December 12. Participants will receive a full survey report filled with insightful data charts, valuable observations, comparisons to previous years’ trends and a full list of companies that participated.

The Alexander Group has conducted sales compensation trends and practices surveys for the past 18 years.
